• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cold day this morning (-10C / 15F) (DPS operating temp)

It's a cold morning this morning, here in Newfoundland!!

It's -10C (15F) here this morning on the way to work, I see that -10C (15F) is on the border of the DPS operating temperature. I didn't get a DPS scroll, but it was on my mind. The temps are supposed to increase a little and I hope I don't get the DPS turning off or scoll on the cluster.

I think I've read posts where in colds temps like this the DPS has turned off. So, in the case that mine does this today, I was hoping you guys/gals should share what you have seen and done in this situation.

Also, I'm wondering if there are any thoughts on a possible link between the DPS turning off in cold weather and DPS failure or steering issues?

Thanks for your advise and tips, everyone.
Cheers.

Wow, you all are better men than I am ryding at those temps. :2thumbs:

How did the ryde go for you Dean, was everything good?

Hey guys.
Yes, Michael, happy to report that all went well, no DPS scroll and no powerloss or any cut-offs of the DPS in -10C temps (-16C windchill at the time).

Thanks for the replies!
