• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cognaq Color Paint

I emailed US Paint about the Cognaq color for paint and found out that the color is actually not new. Its same basecoat as Alloy Orange Metallic (AJ9105), only beneath a High Gloss clear (J3507) instead of the low gloss clear (AF3055). Just FYI if anyone needs to paint. Crazy how different it looks.

Are you going to color match your trailers?

Funny. When I bought my Alloy Orange RS-S there was a Cognac ST in the same area. I thought they looked exactly as you describe. Same color...different clear coat. Under the indoor light they were VERY close but I bet outside the Cognac has a lot more gloss.

1 Quart should be enough for the trailer, wouldn't you think? Or should I pony up for a gal?

cognac color

I am getting my blue trailer painted to match the new bike too in cognac. Thanks for those codes. I just texted my painter and told him about those codes too. Can you pm me and tell me who did you get to make the paint? My painter says most places dont have toners yet. I would really appreciate the help and he says you only need a quart.

Mike, a quart should be plenty. Also, you may want to pull your dash panel on the Spyder and color match it to the machine while stuff is in the paint booth.

:agree:, when I had my 2010 black RT 622 trailer color matched to lava, I had the dashboard and the black lower rear color matched at the same time. Looks a lot better and the rear is easier to clean as the paint is polished/waxed. There was too much black plastic look before for my taste.
