• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Code p0707

Today my wife and I went for ride and about 30 miles into the ride when I shifted into 4th gear my check engine light came on along with the flashing neutral light and a flashing reverse light.
Then when I shifted into 5th gear the two flashing lights went out but the check engine light stayed on. I did the sequence to get the code and it came up with p0707. I looked on my iPad Spyder app and that code is not on there. The nearest I can tell is it is the gear box position sensor. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance Troyboy.

Sounds like..!!

your right. The closest is PO709 which is gear position sensor. You could check the wiring, fueses and relays but here lately we are seeing problems with the paddle shifter. Don't know which you have. Hope it's a glitch and removing the key and walking away will cure this ill.

I'm sorry I should have said it is a 08 gs sm5, you are right that is the closest code on the app and the symptoms leads to the gear box position sensor.
