CNN video of cop turning Spyder owner away in Florida

I watched a CNN report the other night where a police roadblock was stopping people from getting to their homes after the storm , the clip showed a man on a Spyder arguing with a cop then appears to drive around him .... cop then starts screaming at him to turn around . Just wondered if the Ryder is a member here or if anyone saw that news clip ?

Seriously ?

Probably fake if it was on CNN. If you saw it on FOX, then I might believe you.

I didn't post this to bring conspiracy nut bars out of the woodwork to rant about CNN and Fox News ... and could care less whether you " believe me " or not. It was a clip about people trying to get to their homes on a certain highway or road and were being turned away , I noticed the focus was a man on a Spyder and a policeman .... I was wondering if anyone on here knew the man or happened to be a member , yes this is a Spyder related post not fodder for political ranting

Those rules are in place to protect the public... nojoke
I couldn't care less about the rider's frustration: he was trying to get someplace that he just did not belong (At that time...)

Absolutely. Just a couple reasons come to mind....The water is toxic. There are power lines down under the water, and there are manhole covers missing everywhere when there's a flood like that. And even if residents were being allowed in for the first time, you can't let someone in without first ID-ing them so you know they belong and not someone that's going to rip off these vulnerable residents.

Now admittedly I am a glass half full kind of guy ...

But it looked to me that the Spyder rider was attempting to turn around the cop and not run over him.

The cop then jumped in front of him to yell at him. I am doubtful that that bit of yelling did much for good ...

:agree:

Have a friend in Port Aransas, TX, who's house was washed away by Harvey. He heard his kayak was safe and went back to get it. The cops weren't letting anybody in the area because they were protecting what was left of the town from looters.

To prove the kayak was his, he had to prove he lived in the area and show a phone picture of him with the boat. It took some time and patience, but he was able to retrieve his kayak.

The guy on the Spyder is a jerk. He probably couldn't prove he lived in the area.

I tried to find the news clip to post here but couldn't find it . Everyone seemed to be out of patience from what I could see ... cops and people waiting

Tried

I am not finding the clip in question. Is it possible someone could post a link? Thanks in advance.

Maybe another poster can post the link here since I wasn't able to find it . Was interesting to me to see the Spyder loaded up like it was
