• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CnC Machines Dash Mount

I just installed the dash mount on my 2016 RT Limited. What's the best way to run the wires to the battery in the frunk? Is it safe to run them thru the windshield mount holes?

Yep, I ran mine through the right hand (throttle) side and over to the battery side after taking both the windshield and the front dash cover loose, easy peasy. Run my windshield up and down, many, many times since with no problems.

Thanks for the quick answers. I've got jury duty in the morning, so I'm hoping we get finished early enough that I can finish it up tomorrow afternoon/evening. Then move on to the next project.

I took off the cover around the instrument panel, and I can get the wire down by the upper rt w/s mount. When I try to fish it down further toward the battery, i hit a dead end. is there another opening to fish it thru?

use zip ties

I ran the wires for the GPS ( Garmin 660lm) through the center windshield slot but used very small zip ties in a small drilled hole to keep the wire from chaffing against anything.

Chaffed electrical wires cause--------------- Kaos
