• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Clutch Lever Mod... By far the BEST mod I have ever done!

I couldn't believe how easy this mod was to do. If you all (Y'all for you down south...) recall I have requested a few times for PAZZO lever aftermarket replacement for the RTS. The one I had on my RS wont fit. No one seems to know if/what model would work on an RTS.

SO... I this is what _I_ did. Caution... do this only at your own choosing and your own risk.

Step 1: On the RTS clutch lever, you must remove the riveted end of the silver adjustment knob. I used a 3/8" drill bit and a pliers. carefully pry off the washer and save for later use.

Step 2: Pull up and carefully remove the adjustment knob itself.

Step 3: Use a vise grip to hold the adjuster. Using a belt sander (Easiest to contoll it...) or use a grinder.... ( less controll and potentially dangerous. ) to grind down only ONE side of the four sided stem. I chose to NOT harm the lowest one #4. and to modify the #2 side.

Step 4: Now this is a bit tricky... you must drill and tap a small hole where you drilled out the rivet end. I chose a 3mm tap set becuase I have a ton of 3mm bolts. Use Stainless steel bolts please.:D

I did notice I over shot the sanding/grinding a bit... but it looks to not harm it.:yikes:

NOW I can better grab that clutch lever with my smaller hands and they wont get cramped during heavy traffic and heavy clutch usage.

Enjoy.

If you anticipate some down time due to weather... send me a PM. You could send me the part and I'll grind it for you.
