• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Clutch Fluid Gone?

Went to go for a ride this morning and Spyder wouldn't shift into any gear and would try to start then die. Hubby took Clutch Fluid cover off and it was bone dry. He got some fluid and everything worked fine. No leak so where could it go? Anyone have this happen?

Internal leak

Yes. The clutch has a master cylinder and a slave cylinder. If you find no external leaks or puddles, it is an internal leak. A rubber "O" ring is the cure. SpyderAnn had that very same problem. The slave cylinder leaks into engine oil, so, change that too!

Great timing for this post. I've experienced this with my RSS sm5. Will add this to the dealers to do list when I drop it off for routine maintenance.

Have to agree..!!

if no external leaks then it leaks passed the push rod seal into the clutch plates hence engine oil. Rebuild kits and oil and filter change...
