• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Clunking sounds when turning?

if you need to trailer it, PM me. I live in Redlands, so no big deal for me.

Thanks very much. It's drivable, so I'll ride it there today.

I really appreciate how considerate and helpful this community is. So far that's been the best part of owning a Spyder.

That's very kind of you. I appreciate the offer, and I might take you up on it. Tomorrow I'm riding to the Coyne Powersports dealer about an hour away to have them look at the side panel that came off while riding last week to see if they can replace it under warranty. Should I mention this to them, or should I not since it's an aftermarket part? I don't want to ruin my chances of a warranty replacement of that part.
Whoever put the bar on didn't get the bolts tight enough. They are the ones that should remedy it. The dealer should do it willingly, but they may charge you if they did not install the new swaybar. It won't affect your warranty.

I installed my own and called Ron about the noise it did not start till 30 or so days after so I slapped myself and told myself I do crappy service then tightened them up. It made me feel like I went to the dealer. :roflblack:

Did you go? What did you find out?

Yep, I just got back. They took pictures of the side panel that came off to send to BRP for a (hopeful) replacement, and checked the noise. 5 minutes later they had the noise fixed after they tightened the bolts on the sway bar. Before they tightened the bolts they showed me how loose they actually were and it was pretty bad. They also weren't going to charge me for it but even for something that simple I prefer to pay if they did something to it, so it cost $42. I didn't want to drive it home like that and didn't want to deal with it anymore either. I bought this thing to relieve stress, not cause more of it!

Anyway, all your responses and offers are really appreciated. Thanks very much!
