• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i went on a little ride this afternoon and stopped at a friends house when i backed out of his driveway i heard a clunking noise from the rear wheel so i killed it and stepped off and pushed it forward and back it would clunk when backing only
i rode it home and placed it on a jack in the garage ran it in reverse no clunking just the brake drag noise
i placed it on the ground and rolled it front and back still clunking
happens only with the weight on it

In this order, can be: front sprocket, rear bearings, rock in/under the belt.

:agree:

Time to remove rear wheel, check belt, remove front sprocket and check out the splines, etc.....

Rear bearings can be hard to tell if they are bad when they are not under stress... so I'd just plan on replacing them regardless.

My clunking sound ended up being front sprocket worn BAD on the splines. Shaft splines were worn too--- put a new sprocket on and so far so good. Not sure how long the shaft will last, and I guess getting it replaced by BRP under warranty may not be easy to get covered... I now carry an extra sprocket (and some JB weld) just in case......;-). Have not used the JB on it..... yet......;)

My guess would be the rear wheel bearings, And hope its not the front sprocket.
But check it away, and if it is maybe you caught it in time before the spines are warn.
Been there had that.:gaah:
