• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

clunk

every once in a great while when the bike has just been started from cold, If I blip the throttle before I get 2 or 3 bars on the temp guage I get a clunk sound. kinda like a cylinder missed. It will just do it once and thats it. never again until next cold start.

any ideas?

This bike is supposed to be warmed up a bit before you take off...I always get a bar or two before I go anywhere...

After starting the Spyder I do not touch the throttle, per owner's manual until it is warmed up. In the summer 1 or 2 bars works fine for me. In the cold winter it likes the 3 bars-3 bars seems to be normal operating temperature.

As an experiment this summer/fall I have ridden my Spyder with the radiator fan on continuously and bike remains at 3 bars. Never colder-never hotter.
