• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was just about to post this question on behalf of ddeyle, when I saw he logged his fist post.

Anyway, I already typed this much...

What have you found (or what has your dealer recommended) for the flat/matte painted Phantom body panels? :dontknow:

I have a brand new flat black/matte helmet and use Plexus on it - really cleans and protects and yet does not attract dust or make it shiny - give it a try - shop around for price - many places charge $19 for a 16 oz bottle - you can find it for $13. A can goes a long way

As a service adviser and salesman for Vancouver Island's only Spyder dealership... BRP recommends that NO polish or cleaners be used on the flat black panel kit. Wash with mild detergent only!!!!

Swiffer!!!!!!!!!

Bleach...straight and pure, like your scotch...and don't use any gloves...be tough! If you mix up your scotch and bleach, that's fine too!
:D

My dealer called me a couple days, out of the blue, and said he had just received a bulletin from BRP to not Wax, etc. the matte black panels....recommended warm soap & water.

I tried a little black magic on a small area that can't be seen and didn't like the outcome.

So will stick with just the soap and water routine until someone has another solution.
