• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CHILDREN AS PASSENGERS?...is it ok?

thanks for the comments everyone! even after only a few weeks of reading everyones comments i feel a level of respect for the group as a whole... i have seen some REAL morons on the snowmobile trail but always have safety as #1 for myself and family... guess i dont know why i never put much thought into being on the spyders with the kids. i will keep it to the short ice cream runs in our very rural area. i love the child belt link....thanks a ton! i will have one. again thanks to all for the concern and advice!
That's great that you keep the family involved in these activities! We always took our son along also, and he's developed a healthy respect for mechanized things. Now that he's old enough to be out on his own he's even talking (quietly round the Missus) of getting a motorcycle.
Your concern for their safety never goes away...
So enjoy every moment of their company that you can!

I would think, if the kids can ride with you on snowmoblies, they could on Spyders. Along with safety rules as above. Me, I would keepthe riding to slow speed ( 35 ? ), area roads, not interstates highways.

Looking back a lot of years, we used to ride with babies sitting on the gas tank in front of us on bikes. This does not seem to be such a good idea now. We did that, even on our monster size 500 and 650 cc bikes.

Your decision, of course. Have fun, be safe
