• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You probably wouldn't go too fast or far would you? If you're just riding around the neighborhood I don't see a huge risk. I see bicycles all the time with baby seats on the back or little trailers towed behind them. Everyone seems so paranoid these days.:dontknow:

AGREE!! I used to ride the little ones on bike, no one said a word!

DO you have any children of your own?

Puting a 14 month old on a motorcycle of any kind is ludicrious :dontknow:. You are the adult you make a conscious decision to ryde. A 14 month old is not making that decision you are making it for him or her. I know in FL no child can ryde unless they can reach the passenger footpegs. Can your 14 month old. don't think so. A car seat is for a car; not a motorcycle. Agree with your wife NO RYDING FOR THE KIDS. Pray you think about this long and hard.

Dude, I'm sorry. but you just don't get it. How old are you?
If you put your child on the back of your Spyder,
BRP will have the Can Am Cops up your butt in no time. nojoke

What the F*@!K is this Deliverence? Somebody help me!!!:banghead:

Ok you all win but I'm just saying that, as a father of six, if this activity is SO DANGEROUS, maybe I should not ride AT ALL! I don't want to be hurt either! No one wants to be hurt! Let's all go back to our cars!
Great idea..now go auction off your bike on E-Bay

There is always an element of danger whether you are driving a car, riding a bicycle or a motorcycle, or even when you cross the street. It is your responsibility as an adult and a parent to your children to always safeguard them from harm or danger. Why would you place your child at a greater risk when they cannot protect themselves and have the rationale to think of what would be safer for them? I don't even think that this should even be asked or debated on. SAFETY is always a #1 issue. You can get into some serious legal or criminal situation when it comes to neglect.

My occupation is that of a professional firefighter. I have been to too many accidents, both car and motorcycle, to count. More times then not the accident is as a direct result of the neglegence of the car driver or the motorcycle rider.

My only comment to you and please forgive me if I offend you is that it is because of people like you and ideas like yours that people like me will always have a job.

Give your head a shake and get in touch with reality. It is time for you to make use of that great organ that God gave us all called a brain and relaize that your idea is and your logic is flawed.

Again I appologize if I have offended you but I just can not fathom that anybody what even consider what you are exploring.

Sorry, but your rationale is utterly senseless.

Amen. to that, well said.:agree:

Ok dont take your kids swimming, EVER! Dont drive , fly it's safer!
If you impose on this way of thinking, you might as well drive your car with a blindfold and take your kids with you.:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Agreed I did ask and i appreciate thoughts from others. But we all take risks every day; if i take my kid in car, that's a risk. Should the car be a tank? Should i only drive a volvo?

This is ridiculous to say...

A car has metal all around you and can sustain a collision with a much better chance of survival. There is no comparison between a motorcycle and a car...the numbers clearly demonstrate this.

Taking risks is relative...an infant on a Spyder is simply irresponsible and might be illegal in some areas. There is clearly no protection on a spyder, in a seat or not...
