• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Chicago owners event Libertyville

One of the local dealers asked what ya'll would think of his idea.

From previous events, one thing that's usually needed are tools and parts. Some folks are ryding a long ways and it's not uncommon to need some maintenance or repairs before heading home.

He would like to bring a bus full of parts and tools to the hotel (or nearby) and offer his time to help those who might need it.

Since the Libertyville crowd is a bit "off the brp plan" as it were, he also suggested he could cater some food Friday evening and/or Saturday for those who aren't planning on braving the big city during the Taste of Chicago.

I don't think he has any intention of selling parts or services, just trying to help out with the event for those who want the option of avoiding the crowds.

Sounds like a great idea to me, any other suggestions or concerns?

Sounds good to me but I plan on eating some Chicago style pizza Friday night

with a few others who are staying out in Libertyville. I / we wouldn't be there for a catered dinner.

Could you check the guest list-----I have my fingers crossed that I get to go along for Chicago Pizza with you.-----If not on the list do you know if the gas station across the street has one of those Stewart sandwich machine.
Then I could take something back to my room and watch weather radar.

Of course I planned on you joining us unless you got a better offer.

Just like Lamonster's picture, a deep dish pizza that has mostly cheese inside. Not just a thick crust like deep dish pizza's around here.

Thanks guys. That's what I thought they were. A guy I know said this pizza place I frequent serves Chicago style pizza, well they don't. Their pizza looks nothing like that. The pizza in the picture has a boat load of the good stuff.:2thumbs:

Hooooo Rayyyyyyyy------your the only best offer.
I learned something about CHICAGO STYLE -----I always thought it meant you order the pizza eat it and sneak out with out paying.

All Chicago style pizzas are not the same... :D IMO, a good Chicago style pizza is about 2 inches thick with most of that being cheese, any toppings you ordered are melted into the cheese and a light layer of sauce is sitting on top. Identical to the picture.

I don't know about dinner yet, but I am coming from California and if this dealer wants to show up and help out if need be I for one would welcome his attendance. Wow, that sounded pretty formal. Dude, show up, sounds like a nice thing for a guy to do.

Man what a great offer. If he ends up having to work on my spyder I'd buy HIS dinner. I'd be down for some Pizza though.
Hey was that a picture of Giordano's Pizza? MMM:2thumbs:
