Back to the original thread, in case anyone was wondering...

The dealership and GM have worked together to provide the ex-ZL-1 owner a path forward acceptable to both. He will be getting a new 2014 model but paying an undisclosed amount of the difference in value. GM has made an additional allocation unit of this limited production car available to the dealer for this remedy to happen. At least this is what the car owner reports.

An equitable solution.
