• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner

2011 RTS

The sticker under the seat next to the gas cap states " 87 Octane minimum". I have found better mileage with 91 Octane w/o alcohol. Unfortunately hard to find in MN and when I do find it the price is $0.30 per gallon more than the 87 Octane ethanol. IMO the price difference doesn't make up for the slightly improved mileage. I do not notice any difference in performance or engine response.

87 or 91 octane

I will go check the book now. Question, why would they place a sticker near the gas fill that said 87 octane minimum if you are to run the 91 octane. Which is correct?

Octane requirements 2011 RT-S

I just read my book (owners manual) it states for optimum performance 91octane is recommended 87 octane minimum.

There is a gas station near me that sell no ethanol gas. Is it worth using that?

You can go to www.puregas.org to find stations with ethanol free gas, there will probably be more stations near the coast and most marinas have it also, but it is expensive there, also near farming areas.
