• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well I picked “Therapy” up on Sunday and took her out for her first 150-mile trip:2thumbs:! It was a great day to ride with two very good friends, and two more of them. Lunch at Rosa’s was YUMMY:chat:. In addition, that is where I came to discover that my girl is suffering from that computer glitch that stalls her out at stoplights….:gaah: I lost count by the end of the night but it was 10+:cus: times.
However, other than that I have more smiles than anything!!!!!!! I will get her into the shop this weekend and they will have the software upgrade to get rid of her hiccups.

If she is stalling and having throttle problems, it will probably need more than the computer update. If she has a history of any of four throttle body errors, she will need a new throttle body first. Time to see the dealer ASAP, before it fails completely.

You need to get her into the dealer ASAP and by the way :welcome: & :congrats: on your new :f_spider:

just a tip

My 2011 rt limited was doing the same thing, when slowing down in bumper to bumper traffic it would stall out did it 4 times in two days. The roadster only had about 1000km took it into the dealership and they ended up replacing the battery. This is what they told me....because the battery was low on a few cells when riding the bike with the radio on gps on and lights it was taking a lot of power to run then when the cooling fan kicked it it would stall the bike just not enough juice in the battery. Now i have 5800km on the bike and it's running great now problems. Maybe try a new battery good luck and you are going to love this :spyder2:. It.s a blast to ride.

:welcome: and :congrats: on the ryde.

Hope you get the problem cleared up. Going to the dealer is good advice here.

I am not a mechanical expert--so I leave that advice for others.

My 2011 RTS SE-5 Limited died at a stop light when I was bringing it home the first time and hasn't done it since. I always just thought I had done something wrong with it being new and all.:dontknow: 3,800 miles later it is running like a champ.

:welcome: & :congrats: You will love your new ride. My 2011RT was stalling when it was new, but has been fine since.
