Check engine warning

On my way to Spyderfest in Ozark did around 350 miles stopped at Robbinsville NC for the night. Went to check into hotel and then went back out to move my roadster on starting it up I saw a red flashing warning CHECK ENGINE it flashed went off flashed again then went off I moved the roadster closer to the hotel ...all OK. Went out to eat everything normal did not go far to eat so could not get up to normal riding speed, stopped had something to eat started roadster up everything normal. Any ideas should I be worried.

If no other symptoms, you should be fine

We've had similar happen with no ill effects. As long as the indicator went out & doesn't return, I'd chock it up to an anomaly, as those do happen from time to time :dontknow:

When you have a computer involved in anything you can always expect the unexpected . But it sure gets your attention doesn't it? I will have to be on the lookout for that!

My check engine message has came on after I've shut the engine off while I was in reverse and restarted my spyder. But then after I shut it off and restarted it the check engine message was off.

have seen several posts to this effect. Wondering if you restart before the throttle body and computer totally shut down will this trigger a malfunction code which auto corrects when back to normal...loved the olden days when you could adjust everything...!! :dontknow:

This things happen with purpose. They are warning to us and if go off means things are ok if not something we need to pay attention.:yes::yes:
