There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Check DPS" Limp Mode

Was doing 65 mph on a 4 lane when suddenly the Spyder goes into limp mode. Just like putting on the brakes. The screen is flashing orange as I head to the paved shoulder. "Check DPS" is flashing. I shut it down, wait 3 or 4 minutes and restart. No orange screen, no limp mode. I was over 100 miles from home but it gave me no problems on the ride back. Took it to the dealer a few days later. After hooking it up to their computer they told me the Spyder needed a computer update which they performed. They further stated there was nothing mechanically wrong with the Spyder. I have ridden it a couple hundred miles since and it has performed fine. It is a 2012 RT.
