• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Charging the RT-S

Am I incorrect in my thinking that I can charge my battery through the left outlet located in the "Runk" of my spyder. For some reason I thought I recalled someone saying that this could be done there. I have a Battery Tender Plus. I also purchased a connection which will fit into that outlet and will connect to my Battery Tender.

Would someone please help me on this one?

Yes, I have been doing it that way since December. It just takes a cigarette style plug for your charger. Quick and simple, plus leaving the rrunk open is a better indicator that it is on the charger than my usual method on other bikes of wrapping the cable around the clutch handle, so I am less likely to get in a hurry and try to take off with the charger attached. You can also easily use alligator clips attached to the jumper connections under the seat.
