• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

charger in frunk?

Thinking of putting my Battery-Tender inside the frunk connected to the charger pigtail there and leaving the power cord hanging outside the frunk cover. Easier to connect to power when the full Spyder cover is on. Anyone see any issues? I would think there is airflow in there, so anything I might be missing? Thanks.

I'd be reluctant to close and latch the frunklid with a cord hanging out of it...
I've never checked to see how much heat a battery maintainer puts out. :dontknow:

Any reason you don't jump the fuse to make the rear trunk plug always hot? I have a '12, but find using the cig lighter adapter for my charger back there super easy. I can't help on the front trunk though, sorry :D

Dangerous..!!

well could be. If anything fails with the tender it would be in the frunk. Rather have a connection (plug) and run a cord to it from the tender. Rather have 13.5 volts running to the spyder than 110 volts. Jmo

Call me a worry wort, But on rare occasions tenders can/do fail...
Might never happen but then it might.....:dontknow:
