• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Changing battery?

Let's see..!!

From your profile I see you have a 2012 RT. Your owners manual has details on how to get to the battery. You do have to remove panels to get to it. You can check here for videos or you tube. If your going to start doing your own work best get a shop manual (ebay..green manuals..$20.00). Just remember to remove the black cable first followed by the red cable...

RT Battery change

Howdy.

I have changed two batteries in the past year -- 2010 RT & 2011 RT Ltd.

For the first one, I asked about the "steel bracket" that has the black, rubber strap holding the battery. Lamonster called and said, "Bend it out of the way."

I did it for both bikes. It helps A LOT.
