There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you meant buying colored panels from brp, they are expensive, $1500+ but used set from Ryder who opted for phantom panels($1000) are put on sale here and there for 400-500.
No viper red for rs, just the fire engine red.
I've been thinking about this for sometime now and decided to wrapt red panels with 3m carbon fiber. They should be delivered next week.

I painted the fenders, side panels, and this last winter the rear fender of my Silver Spyder. If you have the right "touch" to paint yourself, it is a world cheaper than replacing the panels.

Oh, one thing about painting the front fenders.....the orange side reflectors are IMHO impossible to remove safely for reuse. You could consider this an opportunity to buy the LED fender side markers or buy new reflectors from BRP. Hopefully you have better luck removing the reflectors than I did, which ended up in a million pieces. I ordered replacment fender reflectors directly from BRP. You've picked an awesome color. Good luck.
