Censored! What's this all about?

I just discovered that Reggy and Cindy's motorcycle accessories company name is now censored, replaced by a string of ***'s. What's this all about? Anyone know, or care to say?

Interestingly, putting their name in the search box brings up a long list of posts but when you view the posts the name is replaced by the **'s.

Even your link is censored! I wonder if this is a result of a dispute between Lamont and them (of which we have no need to know), or a tightening up of sponsor policies wherein no company gets free mentions without paying for a sponsorship?

If you spell it like someone else did, it stays. Once they see this post, they may go back thru and remove.

Also works to put spaces between the letters. The censoring extends to PMs also.

Doing a test to see if the ******* name shows up in searches for messages that were posted after the censoring was initiated.

EDIT: Searching on the name brings up hits for messages posted up thru 2/27, but not on later ones like the one above. It looks like the censoring process changes the name to *'s for all new posts, but only changes the displayed name for earlier posts.
