Cell phones & cagers

When I see the idiots texting or talking on a phone, I try to get out of their way if possible.

How many cell user did you see on your ride today with a cell phone up to their ear or placed on their lap while texting?

The strangest I saw this week was a high school girl crossing a major highway(in a cross walk) paying NO attention to anything else while texting. Holy cow!!! Do they have a clue?

On the way back from Daytona yesterday the lady on the bike in front of me had a jacket on that said "your text or my safety? " Thought that got the point across!

I had two serious near misses last year, both involved a teenager on a cell phone.

Can anybody expalin to me what the lure of texting and walking, driving, hangliding, chewing gum, or roller-coastering(?) is?
Those buttons are too small for me to see, and my paws are so ungainly that I can hit 3 of them at once anyway... :shocked:

Close calls

I think that the close calls I've had since I started riding in October last year have involved some combination of a cell phone, a female under 30 and a Honda Motor Company cage.

If I had a dollar for every time I seen a driver using their phone or pad on the road my bike would just about be paid for. How many dollars for a near miss?

Close calls happen if your on a bike or a trike, car ,truck, What ever.
It's just when your out in the open it tends to become up front and personal.
You just got to learn to shrug it off, And ride on!! :dontknow:
