• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cell phone interface for 2012 RT only??

Here is what I am trying to duplicate.

On my 2002 Goldwing, I have attached a Garmin nuvi 765t. With the Garmin and my OEM radio and a Kennedy cellset harness, I am able to listen to any source on the Goldwing radio (CD, FM, AM, weather, CB) and get my GPS instructions as well. When the instructions come through the other audio source mutes. I have the GPS plugged into my AUX option and can hear mp3s through the GPS as well. All of the audio is going through my helmet earbuds. CB transmissions come through the earbuds as well. I do not use the bike speakers for any audio function while riding.

My CB microphone is also my microphone for the Garmin and its bluetooth function. When a call comes in, everything elses mutes and I hear through my earbuds and talk through the CB mic. Works well at any speed.

Does anyone have these abilities on their Spyder???

I had all that on my wing as well. The key to it all is the Kennedy Cell set. It was what made all that possible. If Kennedy would make their product for the Spyder we could all have what the 2012 is supposed to have but have it now.

I called Kennedy today to see if they had a harness for the Spyder or were working on something. They said not at this time.

Sounds like we're still relying on BRP for a fix.
