• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CD LED problem

I have just installed the HMT brake light with the dual convertor, front brightsides, the mud flap LEDs, and the spyder tips on my 2011 RT-S. I tested them out (with out the mirror turn signals installed). When the turn signals are on the flash rate is fast. I followed the instructions from another post to recalibrate the turn signals by holding down the left turn signal button. After about 10 second, the ABS light came on. I turned off power, came back 5 minutes later, turned on power. All of the LEDs were dim, and the EBD light came on and it went into Limp Home mode. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simple. you have far too many things tied into the OEM blinker circuit. Set up the brightsides, and other lights as running lights only and disconnect them from the turn signal circuit. The nanny is NOT happy.

Never have understood the desire to turn the bike into a light show for turn signals. If you REALLY want all this stuff to flash and dance with your turn signals, tie them in with a relay to separate the circuits.

CD stuff while well made is far from plug n play for the Spyder. I have even sent them updates for their wiring harnesses and they promptly told me my 2013 was built wrong.....along with several thousand other 2013s....The Spyder is not their main business and it shows.

Only the 2014 and up has the calibration routine. Your 2011 does not.

The easy way to fix this once you add too many lights to the turn signals, is to add a resistor to one or more of the lights you added. Yes this dims them a little but changes the load the clusters sees so it stops fast flashing.

For me I only had to add a 100 ohm resistor to the front fender turn lights to stop the fast flash.
