CB antenna opening

Can anyone tell me how to get inside the compartment where the CB antenna goes?
I want to see about installing a flag from the inside thru that opening.

Is the support hardware already underneath the bodywork; or will parts need ordering?
I don't know if that's a "knock-out" plug or not; Somebody in here must have tackled adding the CB unit to one of these bikes... :dontknow:

It isn't fun

Assuming the CB Antenna opening is the same as the Radio Antenna opening; you have to take off the side armrest/left-rear speaker housing by removing several screws from the inside of the rear trunk. Once you have this assembly off, there are several screws on the assembly that will need to be removed so that you remove the painted cover to expose the area that you need to access.

There is no mounting block in there but you can make one and install easy enough. The speaker housing comes off with 3 screws inside the trunk and I belive you also have to remove the rear trim piece that runs from left to right. The trick is parting the outer cover from the speaker box, it has hoods that require you slid to one side as you pull out a bit. It is not difficult, just go easy and get a good bright light, you will see the hooks from the back side and they will tell you which way to slide.
