• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Carpet for Freedom Trailer

P.W.

We just bought a 2015 freedom trailer and was looking to line it with actual carpet.....not the plastic floor mat you can buy.
Does anyone know if Can Am sells just the carpet insert? I can't find a part number for a carpet insert... just for the plastic floor mat.

Thanks for your time and help!

I don't think there was a carpet option for the Freedom trailer. You might have to make your own piece from a remnant.

Okay...for some reason I thought I was a pic of the new trailers with carpet in them.....guess not Lol

Thanks,

we bought a "outdoor mat" (4' X 5') from a local hardware store and cut that to fit. I made templates with several cardboard pieces and it fits pretty good.

I did about the same as bcer960 did, and surprisingly it worked quite well. I bought a roll of 1/4" thick gray indoor/outdoor carpet from Lowes about the same size. It was large enough to not only cover the bottom but up the sides as well. For the curves on corners, I simply cut out "V" shaped pieces so the carpet would fit flat without overlapping. The carpet I used was rather stiff so there was no need for any adhesive to hold it in place. I also store my trailer standing up, and the carpet has never moved or collapsed because of gravity.
