Hi there,

two weeks ago I bought my first spyder.
Drove an old model a couple of years ago (rented it for one day) and liked it, but didn't LOVED it.

Two months ago I maked a test drive on a 2015 F3. LOVED IT! What a great machine !!!!

The dealer showed me the Daytona. That was not the best idea....
Searched for a couple of weeks, and found my perfect Spyder:

2017 Daytona (with drift mode :doorag
special wheels and exhaust.
I orderd a belt, heated grips (its cold in The Netherlands) and a windscreen Blue Ridge.

Now I am waiting for the plate.
Hope to pick it u next week.

Cant wait!!!!

Two questions:

Is the new squar colour display an option or standard on the 2017?

The special frontcover on the picture of the start pages of this forum (the yellow one) is that also a option for sale? Or custom made?

Welcome to the spyder world and this most informative site..congrats on the new ryde..:2thumbs: the guage is not available as far as I have seen. Would require some other changes that are more involved than plug and play. The grille is an option check with the BRP accessories. Enjoy the new ryde....:clap:

At 187cm you are 6 ft 1 inch. I'm 180cm or 5 ft 11 inch. I look over the windshield. Quite frankly I think the 27" windshield might be too short for you. Do yourself a favour and go through the measurement procedure here... https://calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/Windshields.html

7JUROCK will make you a taller windshield (custom) and yes for me The 27" 7jurock did eliminate the wind noise and buffeting.
