• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok, it seemed to be a fairly simple task ... adjusting the headlights. Evidently I'm missing a key piece of information. Which way do you do you turn the adjustment screw to make the headlights go down?

I found this thread http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?38461-Headlight-Adjustment but I guess it's one of things everyone knows (like the sky is up... the ground is down kind of thing).

2nd question: When you screw it too far and things go pop :opps: how hard is it to fix? (and how expensive?)

Let's see..!!

I see you found where to adjust (little holes under the headlights). So tighten (clockwise ) brings the beam down loosening (counter clockwise) brings the beam up. You should put weight on the seat to equal yours or have someone sit on it or you will be adjusting hopping on and off repetedly. Level surface 35 feet from a wall what I don't remember is the heigth..think it was 27"... Its in the manual...

Thanks for that. Very much appreciated. Screwed the right one clockwise too far. Any suggestions? (other than let someone with more sense work on my bike?)

Depends..!

If it will not back out again you may have to remove the bottom half of the faring to get to the headlight housing. Then put pressure on the backplate to get the threads lined up. Never been there :dontknow:

Dont drive @ night ez fix. Sell bike enjoy new & farkel up. Just a redneck thought :)
