• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A video would help (slow learner)

Whenever I have questions about how Spyderparts go together I will go the Fiche' ( from after-market parts) that shows how all the corresponding pieces fit together .... it has helped me in the past ..... good luck .... Mike

I just checked my parts list in the manual. I have a 2011 but the rear tail lights are the same. I first remove the trim below the rear release latches. Open both side bags and rear trunk. There are 2 screw have to be removed from both sides. Then 4 screws around the rear trunk latch. Be careful on removing the left and right side fingers of the panel. After that panel is removed you have access to the light assemblies and this where you can also adjust the side latches. Bruce

What Safecracker said.
Why? The tail and brake lights are LEDs. If you say what you are trying to do, we can get you there. Joe

Brake and tail are in the LED assembly. You don't get to those. The backup and turn are incandescent. You have to remove the rear panel, 8 screws, to get to them.
