There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

One of, but not the only, reasons for choosing the Spyder is that I’m Canadian. If there’s a Canadian supplier for an accessory I’m gonna look there first.

2018 and up RT and F3T-L with BRP connect are all the same. Just bought my plug & play harness from Trailer ETC out of Canada for 100 bucks. 70 buck less than the other and has built in wiring safety circuit in case trailer wiring shorts out. It is 16 pin connector to Flat 4 to trailer. Very high quality. Works fantastic. 5-10 minute install.
Our Spyders/Rykers might come from Canada, and a lot of the bits we get for them come from or thru there, but I think the point you might be missing is - is there a Canadian Spyderlovers?? :dontknow:
Not that I have too much of a dog in this race (coming from Oz makes buying US &/or Canadian a/mkt stuff juuust a lottle expensive and a little problematic!
) but the Sponsors here help to keep this Forum going and so they deserve our support and help to do that.... or we won't get to keep on using it & sharing all the collective Spyder Knowledge & finding out about all the good stuff!! So I know what I'd be doing if I could. 
Still, it's your Spyder, your money, and ultimately your choice...
