• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

canamspyderaccessories F3 hitch adapter

I'm going to add Pierre's F3/F3S hitch to my F3. His harness comes with a 4 pin flat plug but we have an RT-622 trailer. I haven't been able to find an adapter that will go from 4-pin flat to 4-pin square. Lamont's adapter is the other way around (OEM harness to non-BRP trailer.) Anyone have a lead on the correct adapter?

Cut the flat four in two and tape (or heat shrink tube) one half on top of the other. It'll then fit the square four. I haven't done this myself but others here on the forum have.

Hey Roger,
I did the cut and tape of the Flat 4 to make a
Square 4 for the hitch on my previous ST.
It worked without a problem.
Good Luck, David C.

Thanks Dave. It never dawned on me to cut the Flat 4. I needed something quick so in the end I bought a trailer kit at Harbor Freight, cut off one of the flat 4's and spliced it into the trailer's wiring. Now that we're back from our trip I have the time to do it "right".

Our best friend has the 4 square on her Spyder and Trailer - and I have the Flat 4 on my Spyder and Vision. I bought a square 4 and flat 4 extension and cut them up to make my own adapter (both ways) - so I can tow her trailer with my stuff - and she can tow my flat 4 with her Spyder if necessary. The wiring of the adapter is sure straight forward.
