Can you mix oils?

I''m assuming that your adding oil to your ride, which is a small amount mixing with the existing oil and shouldn't cause any issues. Better than running low. As long as you don't notice any color change or foaming, you should be fine. Change the oil when possible and buy a little extra for the next time.

Not a problem. You want to stay somewhat close on the viscosity and it should have the same duty service ratings to stay within the manufacturers requirements. Otherwise, you are good to go. You don't even have to use fully synthetic with a fully synthetic oil.

Question is why....? I would stay with the same and change over at the next oil change. You don't add much to the 1330 but do a lot with the 998. :thumbup:

This is not for topping off the oil. This is for a complete oil change. I have a few quarts of Valvoline 4T and a couple quarts of Amsoil and I wanted to use them up.

That will work fine. You may compromise the Amsoil a bit. But the effect will be better than using the Valvoline alone. I don't know if this is something I would do on a regular basis. But still, it won't hurt a thing. And it will be a better lubricant than the BRP product in any case.
