• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can we just shut up and race ?

Most times factories get involved with racing to show that their product is better than the compitition.

Hence the phrase, "race (some people say "win" in place of race) on Sunday sell on Monday."

With nobody to beat so to say, and already owning 100% of this market they have very little to gain in doing so.

Racing costs money for sure! Do it or organidzing it, it is expensive. With it most likely bringing no advantage to them money wise I don't think we will see it any time soon.

Also for closed course racing the VSS issue could limit what can be done as well?

I'm game!!! :2thumbs: Lets go. Might be time to get the NSRA together (National Spyder Racing association). Combination of Drag and road course racing. What do you think?!?!?!?:chat:

Races would be great - I for one would love to see the :f_spider: in action on a good road course. :2thumbs:

This is my kind of thread!

I've done a couple of track sessions with spydr2 (that's my video above) and it was a blast!

The Omaha Ducati dealership puts on track days and we talked them into letting me run the spyder during their Try-the-track sessions. I've heard that other Ducati dealerships are doing the same thing, so you might check with them in your area.

Also, I run my Toyota Spyder on the same track on Findtheline.com track days and have talked to the owner about having a session for 3-wheeled spyders. He said he would consider it, so if anyone in the midwest is interested next spring, if we got a group of 6-10 spyders together we might be able to get some track time.
