The owners manual does not come with the Zumo. There is a link to it in Garmin Express. You did install Garmin Express on you computer?

Yes it can. I found, by accident, how to get into the screen that lets you set up several options.
I have mine set for trips that show the mileage left to destination and time of arrival.....
There are several things you can change. I found the screen by touching the "MPH" display on the lower right of the display and a whole new screen came up that let me customize the display.
