Same as on the Spyder models with Mode Selection, there is
NO Mode selection that completely turns Traction Control or the rest of the VSS suite
OFF!! As mentioned (& quoted) above, apart from ECO mode, which effectively
only varies the throttle limits & opening control,
all the other various Modes do is change how much Traction Control there is & vary the Steering Angles allowed before other VSS intervention.
-
Standard is the basic setting for both Traction Control & VSS Intervention;
-
Sport reduces Straight Line Traction Control just a little, without changing the Steering limits on VSS intervention; while
-
Rally Mode reduces Straight Line Traction Control even more
AND it increases the range of the Steering limits where that Traction
. Control reduction can be exercised, albeit only by a fairly small amount, before the VSS suite steps in & the Nanny intervenes.
But
ALL the Mode selections retain a fairly high degree of Traction Control, with the actual limit depending upon which Mode you're in; and apart from that, the VSS suite remains fully functional across the board, only with a slightly wider range of Steering Angle allowed before Traction Control & other VSS functions step in as programmed to '
keep you safe' when you are in Rally Mode. :lecturef_smilie:
NOTHING about changing Modes will actually turn either the Traction Control or the Rest of the VSS suite completely OFF!! :bdh:
