My request is pending, but it's only been a day. I looked at the members and sorted by date; they have added plenty of new members within the last week. Maybe give them a few days and then you could private message Gary Lagueux https://www.facebook.com/gary.lagueux?fref=nf if you haven't heard back. He seems to be the main admin.

It took 2 or 3 days before I got the acceptance notice. Like Anne says, don't get in a tizzy about joining. Just like 98% of Facebook it's mostly non-substantive dribble, IMO.

There is only one admin, the guy who founded the group. He may be sick, on vacation, at a Spyder Rally . . . give him a break.

As for the question, why only one? Because he is smart enough not to share the admin rights. I've seen too many groups get taken over by someone who got angry at other admins and deleted them all from the group.

Gary will get to you . . . send him a PM if he doesn't. Don't take it personal, because it isn't.
