• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lot of items are now out dated. Can-Am should spring for a new and updated version.
They still mention the 990, push pedal parking break, 5 speed tranny and no F 3.

Mine is still sitting on my desk. Never watched it. As Ex Winger said, there is more information here than you would ever see on that DVD.

You're supposed to watch that? I thought it was a coaster! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

It doesn't cost but a few cents to produce new DVD's, but they'd probably reach more people (me, a least) if they made it a download or YouTube link. My laptop doesn't have a DVD drive and I forget how to operate the one connected to our TV.

I have three copies, but I watched it every weekend this summer as it was required viewing for all prospective ryders in the demos we conducted!

I just figure there is always more that I can learn.
Maybe (CanAm) they do not update it due to the low percentage of people that view it ?

We usually give the DVD a watch as we are getting closer to the spring season. I totally agree that it is time for an update. I hope the new and improved Marketing Department is listening. :dontknow::dontknow:

I have a pair of them here... :D
I still pop them in the 'puter about once a season!

Very good, Bob.......but do you actually WATCH them once you've popped them in, or are you just testing your DVD player? :lecturef_smilie::D

Based on some of the tings i read on this site, i don't thik many owners even read the manual!
Read the manual in the mornings, watch the DVD at nights and read the operating instructions before riding the bike!............. NOT!

I never got the DVD with my new 2013... good thing I know how to read the manual and have a huge excess of common sense to keep me on the straight and narrow :ohyea:
