• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can-Am Passenger Seat Bag - Worth the Money?

Cortech Sport Bag

The Cortech tail bag is smaller than the BRP bag, but for the price the Cortech sport bag is not a bad choice and it is expandable. You can also get the saddle bags to match to add more storage space as shown below. Of course this will jump up the cost for the extra storage, but some people here on these forums have used these saddle bags and have reported them to work out well. I'm certain that there are also many other choices and brands for tail bags and saddle bag systems that might work on the spyder. It all comes down to personal preference and which one works for you.

My husband an I bought our Spyder in February. We are looking for temporary saddle bags until we can purchase the Corbin saddle bags. We ordered a trunk box 12 weeks ago - still waiting!!! I found this bag on the www.mymcgear.com website. Am I looking at the same item you mentioned?

I use the cortech sport tailbag (69.99) and the sport saddle bags (129.99). The bungee cords hold the tail bag and saddle bags to the grab handles and the large velcro straps on the saddle bags go over the tailbag and a duffle bag on top of that, It all sits snug and does not move at any speed. I also put a small cargo net on top of every thing which will hold my jacket or any thing like that. I purchased these at my local motorcycle store. I will try to add a picture. My apologies in advance if there is no pic or its too big and takes up all lamonts server space!

IMA RIDER I have the comparable Nelson Riggs bags (sadlde and tail bag) and am really impressed with the way you have the saddle bags resting up high on the grab handles and teh way you use the long velcro straps to hold the tail bag and "stuff". I never thought about using mine that way but will in the future. You could even add a second pair of saddle bags down below the grab handles for those times when yo uhave a lot of "stuff" to take. Nice work!

Thanks rleathen;) I never thought of another set of bags below, but that is a great idea for when you want more storage! By the way, this set up also makes for a comfy back rest.

at the start of this thread, based upon some of the comments, :clap:I ordered the corteck tail bag shown below..it came two days ago...it is perfect for my needs and well made...and it was almost a $100 less than the BRP bad

Anyone tried the Can-Am Passenger Seat bag? (Not the rack bag)

Just wondering if it's worth the money?
I have had one on each of my two spyders and like them a lot. It is great for carrying a lap top and all of the other misc bits and pieces one needs when traveling cross country. I have one that I have only used a couple of times that I am willing to sell at one half of new cost, whatever that is. I have added a rear top case to my present Spyder and while the rear bag still fits it is going to be a problem during refueling. Let me know if you want it as I am about to order some more oil and filters from you.

Had the Can Am seat bag and one of the straps disconnected from the bag. Will have to re-rivet before I can use it again.

I have a Can AM Seat bag for sale if anyone is interested. I sold my GS/RS and have no use for it any longer.
