• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Camping in the Smokies in Sept.

Well, as I have mentioned, not 100% sure about Gatlinburg yet. If we do get to go, it will not be for the whole week but just a short trip. Tentatively we would be looking at this itinerary. Leave very early Thursday morning, get down there and set up camp. Take a nice scenic ride over to Lamont's for the BBQ. Spend Friday doing some riding in the Smokies and maybe meeting some SpyderLovers that might still be around that late in the week. Leave bright and early on Sat. morning. It is about a 9.5 to 10 hour ride if we run straight thru and no lolly gagging around. Here is one campsite I found on line that seems to be part way between Gatlinburg and the BBQ, if you have any info on this site or others, I would love your input.

As for the national campground, I believe Cosby would be the closest to both Lamont and the group activities in G'burg. It also has a great backdoor entrance which eliminates a lot of the traffic entering Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. I had forgotten about this option, Deb, when I PM'd you regarding Arrow Creek.

Cosby also takes reservations (25 anyway), the rest are on first-come, first served basis.
