There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Buying New Can Am RT Next Week

rgk

New member
New to forum, planning purchase of 2014 Can Am RT Ltd. next week. The convenient dealer is Mountain Motorsports of Marietta, GA. Is this a respected dealer or should I look further? Responses will be appreciated sincerely. Thank you.

:welcome: I think it is a good idea to meet and speak to the parts and service departments before you finalize your deal. You will have to live with them for several years so having a good relationship is key. Good luck.

Welcome..!!

to our awesome site..we will congratulate you on your new ryde when we get the pictures..:roflblack: The wait is always the toughest part..can't help with the dealer we are closer to Murrietta CA...:roflblack: Your on your way to a wonderful experience...!! :ohyea::ohyea:

:welcome:
Ann is right; get a "read" on the service folks; they will ultimately make, or break; how you feel about the Spyder.
Here's to hoping for a long and happy relationship!!
:congrats:

Agree on talking to the service people

I picked up my new RT last week, I got the deal I wanted but did not enjoy the salemanship of the dealer at all. When I picked up the bike It was demo'd by the service mechanic and manager both, they were awesome, fun, new there stuff and made me feel I was in good hands if needing service. For that alone I was then ok that I purchased from a dealer I wasn't to keen on...

SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE...... IT's KEY !!!!!!!!!!!!

:welcome: to the best forum for all things :f_spider:. Sorry I cannot help with your question about the dealer, but like Ann and Bob said check out the parts and service to get a feel for how you will be treated. Especially the service writers as that is where my last dealer fell flat on their face and the reason why I purchased my 2014 from a different dealer.
On a positive note you will love the 2014 RT :ohyea:

Welcome

As others have stated and :agree:.... The service people must be :firstplace: For you. I have eliminated more than one dealer. I always call and introduce myself to the service mgr (not the parts dept). I am not mechanical and need to have confidence in who I trust working on my RT.
I also place A LOT of trust in what my fellow Spyderlovers say about a dealer. If someone gives a negative it raises a red flag..if 2 or more I look further.
For example I just had a verrrry positive experience with the service dept at Renegade Powersports in Logan Utah as I traveled and dealt with my 622 trailer issues. So yep they get a huge :thumbup:.
yep yep welcome and pictures when you start the "miles of smiles".

Hey! Good to see you!!

Agree with all the advice above. Correct service is an essential part of a happy relationship with your Spyder.

:welcome: :agree: with what others have said about service. Can't help you with the dealer you mentioned--but I am sure others will.

Want to AL

Live in Marietta area. Friend and I ended up in Hamilton AL (in July 2013) . http://www.motorsportssuperstore.com/
Did the whole deal by email including trade in
If you are willing to travel.. it might be worth the time to send them an email requesting a price

For service I currently use Freedom Power Sports in Acworth.
But as said elsewhere, you should talk to the service department and determine what works for you
