• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Busy Week With Mods

It's been a busy week for me. This week I have:
1. Installed Magic Mirrors (Lamonster)
2. Installed LED headlights and fog lights. (Slingmods)
3. Installed a trunk organizer. (Slingmods)
4. Installed a short antenna. (Slingmods)
5. Installed a Pedal Box. (Lamonster)
6. Installed a mud flap. (Slingmods)

It all took a few hours, but well worth it. I feel like I have a new Spyder! I disconnected the analog fuel and temp gauges (The magnets on the Magic Mirrors interfered with them). I like the ones on the display much better. The Pedal Box is amazing! LED's are awesome. Antenna is smaller and still has great reception.

I'm a happy guy!

Well done. You're a faster installer than I am. Those tasks would have taken me the better part of a weekend, but then I stop at regular intervals to wonder if I've done something wrong, not to mention another coffee or cola.

I may have made it sound a little faster than it was! I did the mirrors one evening. Did the Pedal box on another day. All the rest took about 6 hours yesterday. I am the same, stop to wonder, stop for coffee or sweet tea. I was ecstatic when I was done and there was no left over hardware!

I resemble that! ;) . Good to see I'm not the only one who's skilled at missing/losing stuff!

Brings to mind the old saying used by many fabricators - "We make things nice cos we do them twice - or maybe three times..." :p

LED Headlights and LED Foglights

:coffee:...I did my LED Lighting, and it took me just over 4 hours. I had watched the videos about 5 times and had all the correct tools. It is a lot of work but well worth it. My local Spyder Dealer quoted 3.5 hours @ $150.00 hour.

Definitely felt good about it and enjoyed the 'fun' of a job well done.
My Tip: Don't sell yourself short, but definitely understand all that's involved beforehand.

Stay Healthy and Enjoy Your Day. ....
