• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Busy Two Days

The wife and I took a 230 mile trip to Cloquet MN to see Bobbobtar (Bob and his wife Kathy) to add a few goodies to the "Pearl". Update shocks to Elka's, new plugs and wires from Bajaron, Juice Box Pro, Volt meter and finally new Corbin seat and backrest. What a task! I can't say thanks enough for the help from Bobbobtar. He had been there, done that which was super! Enjoy the pics.

Oh! Also put on new Yoshimura R-77 muffler when we got back from Durango.

Initial thoughts

With only 240 miles since most of the updates, here are some initial impressions

1) Yoshi pipe has a nice throatier sound when accelerating and levels off nicely
2) I have the JoiceBox Pro set to map 1. Seems more responsive on the throttle. MPG is still up for debate, too early yet.
3) Elka shocks are a major improvement, worth every penny to me. Unbelievable in the twisties.
4) Corbin seat needs to be broke in but not bad right from the get go. I got it with the Lamonster cut, glad I did. Love having a backrest again. The leather is the medium charcoal gray snake. I had the web done in red to go along with my CF red/black dash kit.

Wife's impressions of seat

1) Sits a little lower so she has to look around me more. (I am a fair amount to start with;)).
2) Backrest doesn't wrap around her like the stock one. Not complaining tho.
3) Has to come up with a easier way to get on with spring loaded backrest.

Love the seat. Usually about 1000 miles to break in the Corbin. I have 27,000 miles on mine and it still feels hard.
