• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need help... Anyone out there have instructions on how to mount Busctec Trailer Hitch to Spyder and wiring instructions..

Thanks:2thumbs:

Didn't the hitch and wiring come with instructions? We found the instructions to be right on and fairly easy to follow when we put the Bushtec hitch on dltang's Spyder. The only question I had was concerning the wiring of the hitch pigtail and a 2 minute call to Bushtec answered that for me.

Hitch

Called Bushtec and they faxed the information over right away. The install of the hitch went pretty well. Now the install of the wiring is going to be a different thing.:dontknow: I need some kind on converted relay that goes from a 5 wire to a 4 wire. Called my local trailer company they had no idea what I was talking about. I sent an email to Bushtec for additional help.

Wish me luck.

Still have them I keep all that good stuff maybe we could scan them but I,m sure they can send you a set.Let me know :ani29:

As far as connection to the bike.

1)The hitch harness is color coded
2) Can-am is not color coded. They have a real funky wiring system.

What I did was the old fashion way. Got out the old reliable test light. Do you have the relay that goes between the hitch and the bike harness. You must have this. If you don't have it. Call Bushtec #423-562-9900 ask for Samuel nice guy and he can answer any question you have. I had wiring problems also. With his help I had it fixed in minutes.

Hitch

Talked with Sam yesterday, he had a big wig meeting to attend. We will talk again today... That should do it I hope. My five wire from the bike was cut. I was hoping to get the set up locally.
