• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Burnt Clutchs on 2013 RT Limited

Well it has been nearly 3 weeks since our clutch problem occurred. Remember burnt clutches. Well to make a long story short, the parts came in yesterday and the spyder will be ready by saturday (thank god my wife is pissed off to say the least). Anyway BRP came through:clap: and is doing the repair under warranty with instructions to me not to ride in any more parades! LOL. you don't have to tell me twice. So all will be good by saturday.:clap: We ordered a 2015 :spyder2: can't stand the heat of the 2013. We did all of the stuff we were supposed to do, just too hot for Wife.
So lesson learned..... Just makes me wonder if you are stuck in a long traffic jam, I guess switch into neutral as much as you can.

New 2015 RT in Intense Red Pearl color correct? Go Lobos!

just saying......heard there were a few clutch plates that were warped that have shown up on some of the 2013's......

Riding in parades is not a problem. Just remember to keep the RPM's high above 3300RPM and use the appropriate gear.
The dealer I use rides in parades all of the time and he pulls a Mascott. This time it was a 2012 spyder RT Limited at the local Octoberfest Parade http://www.therecord.com/video/2676191

If you keep the revs up, and the loads light; you should be okay if you decide to participate in a Parade or two... :2thumbs:

Just did a Parade last Sunday, most of it was down hill so was in neutral for the majority of time but have been in other parades where it was mostly stop and go but all have been only a few blocks.
