• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bumpskid for 2014 Spyder RT Limited

Looks Great - install?

Hello,

I had installed a bumpskid on my 2012 RT Limited and decided to grind off the two rectangular "bumps" on each side wing to allow the bumpskid to fit tighter to the bottom of the bike.

I just had my 2014 RT Limited delivered this week and will install another bumpskid.....are those bumps still on the wings that prevent the bumpskid to get tight up against the bottom?:dontknow:

Any suggestions for a great install will be appreciated! :thumbup:

No, no more bumps, it is smooth and makes for a better fit and look.

This forum has been GREAT and very USEFUL! I used it many times when updating my 2012 and will continue to use it as we go forward.

The new bumpskids should be ready shortly (Spyderpops is working on getting some made) they are not the same as the previous ones because the 2014 front end changed, Send Harvey "Spyderpops" a PM and he will contact you as soon as they are ready or you can call him for more info at 501 627-4008.

2014 RT bump skid

I just got my bump skid here in Canada. Are these supposed to have hardware with them because I have no hardware or instructions included.

Got a note today that my bumpskid is waiting at the post office & is ready for pick up.
The boys are going to start putting my baby together this week.
With the nice warm spell we're having up here they should be able to do the road test in the next week or 2 and then it's time to bring 'er home!
