• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP website Build & price 2014 RT's available

GM..since it is just a wee bit chilly (9 when I got up)...drinking coffee, listening to Christmas music and here I am...OK did the build thingy...didn't see anything I really want on the RTS...seems pretty complete to me...well, for my "base" before the customization starts....OK back to ?

Adjusting handlebars???? Options..worth the extra $$ and why...thanks...

Have a great day..it is even to cold to snow here...ahhhhh Santa comes first then the maps and serious farkling starts!!! (Just in case JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON...but Santa always gets the open "chimney" policy at my home...

If you do long distance riding , and I know you do - I find it comfortable to adjust the handlebar position periodically on long trips to change my body position - makes long distance rides easier.. also pulling the bars back toward you more gives more leverage for handling tight turns.. I pull mine back an inch or more when riding tail of the dragon and other comparable curves and swerves

Good info

Yep I do get "stiff" sometimes being in same position...find myself stretching/rotating, etc. to "loosen" up...not unusual for me to ryde 400-600 miles at a time...hmmmmm see what "hot deal" my dealer will give me ... am hoping for the "usual" Spyderfest discounts/incentives!!! Thanks...to you and Bob D...good info...oh oh see snowflakes...to dang cold to snow...so I'm not much of a meteorologist !!! :roflblack:

See if you can "convince" them to throw in the installation costs... there's a pretty fair amount of labor to it!
Good Luck!

AK,
Try the build site today; it seems to be working much better on my system.

I did. IT WORKED. Had to change my browser. Believe it or not, I could only find one accessory for my RTS--the drivers backrest. The extra lights (trunk light bar, front led's) will have to be aftermarket I guess.

:congrats: It's a start; right? :dontknow:
I'm still trying to figure out how to save pictures from it...:banghead:

I did not try to print out the pictures. I guess I can remember base + backrest = $28,500. Also, gives me incentive to go back and play with the site. Maybe there is a farkle that I missed. :dontknow: I actually like that two tone seat that is standard. Now, if only it is not that soft, torture machine, stuff that they have put on all the other OEM's.

I klnd of like that two-tone look as well.
But I REALLY like the chrome on the Limiteds! :D

I could justify the chrome because I like that also. Can't justify the Garmin though. When you only have one highway to go from A to B...??? I did buy the special wheels on my 2008 but that was the only time I did that. I let glo ryders take care of my wheel decorations these days.
