• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP website Build & price 2014 RT's available

Are you only going to the show on Friday? I'm not sure what time we will get to town so I don't know if we will go Friday night or just on Saturday.

I couldn't find the comparability button or the section on the trailer section. I guess the good news for me is that I can't spend as much as you can!

Ideally want to go all 3 days. Last year I went on Friday, no crowds, place is empty and you have a chance to ask questions,
then Saturday for the demo rides, (which has a 60% chance of rain, Thats not good for the other Bike manufactures), and Sunday for my Harley friend. Might Demo again. Both Friday and Sunday say 0% rain. So pack rain gear. I have to leave on Saturday early cuz I have to work. Going to a Dog show as well also
at the Orange County fair grounds to get pet supplies for my girls!

I haven't found the compatibility button either, I am using Safari as my browser. You are gonna have your bike a year before I can get one, So excited for you Ann! I am bring my camera and will take lots of Pics!

Everything is up and running, takes a while to add accessories,

Cognac is growing on me
:D

The monthly payment is with a 7.9% interest rate over 7 years, a 1.9% rate reduces it to $550:yikes:

Now I have a build book too.

of course there were a few items I omitted, like inside trailer light, but most
everything else I got. If I stay with Timeless Black then my current 622RT is
good to go and I will save approx $5500, and need to add GPS, but will then transfer my luggage, but that cognac…………..

$43K OMG

I wish, but already have plans for Friday evening. I will be there when they open the doors on Saturday morning though.

You folks scared the heck out of me! I saw the $42,000 price tag and thought to myself, my first Spyder (2013 RT) will be my last! Then I saw the $12,000 accessories charge! Wow! Now that my blood pressure is back in the "normal" range, I may start thinking about looking again, AFTER SEVERAL GOOD REPORTS on the 2014s! Good luck out there!

I have thrown in the towel on the "build a bike" site. Guess I will have to do mine the hard way. I have decided to go with the RT-S (since I don't need the $4,000 or so in additional chrome and Garmin). I am torn between the Yellow and the Cognac--so guessing I will have to see them up close and personal. The plusher seat interests me--but will check out the OEM version for the first 500 miles or so. I am also thinking I want the drivers backrest, a trunk light bar, and perhaps some led's on the front. Interesting how less farkles seems more right this time. I am not the farkle champion, but have been known to buy a few in my time.

Opinions please

GM..since it is just a wee bit chilly (9 when I got up)...drinking coffee, listening to Christmas music and here I am...OK did the build thingy...didn't see anything I really want on the RTS...seems pretty complete to me...well, for my "base" before the customization starts....OK back to ?

Adjusting handlebars???? Options..worth the extra $$ and why...thanks...

Have a great day..it is even to cold to snow here...ahhhhh Santa comes first then the maps and serious farkling starts!!! (Just in case JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON...but Santa always gets the open "chimney" policy at my home...

Good Afternoon...
Question: How do the Standard Handlebars fit you?
The "Adjust-a-bars" can really help you make the bike fit you better; if you need them. ;)
(They are a bit "pricey"...)

More than half of the fun is in the shopping, so keep on building the bike(s) fo your dreams! :2thumbs:
